TAYLOR M. BAKER – Managing Partner
Taylor M. Baker is originally from Norfolk, VA. He received his undergraduate degree from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. He received his JD from the University of Richmond in Richmond, VA. He relocated to Bath County in 2014 where he lives with his wife, Pari, daughter Pip, and dog Warren. He founded The Law Office of Taylor M. Baker in 2014. He loves the Alleghany Highlands and is proud to serve this region with all of its legal needs. In his spare time, Taylor enjoys shooting sporting clays, spending time with his family, and football.

Melinda Hinkle-Associate Attorney
Melinda Lindsay Hinkle was born and raised in Alleghany County. Melinda graduated from Alleghany High School in 2006. She then moved to Blacksburg, VA where she received a bachelor’s and Master’s in Agriculture from Virginia Tech. Afterwards, Melinda taught high school agriculture for 7 years, 5 of those were at her Alma Mater Alleghany High School.
Melinda attended Liberty University School of Law (LUSOL) while still living in the Alleghany Highlands, commuting each day. During her last 2 years of law school, Melinda shadowed the honorable Judge Edward K. Stein in Alleghany, Bath, and Highland Counties. Melinda still lives in the Alleghany Highlands with her daughter, Remi and their dog, Liberty. The Alleghany Highlands have always been home. Melinda enjoys traveling with her daughter. She also enjoys the outdoors, hunting, and spending time with her family. She services Alleghany, Bath, Highland, Botetourt, Rockbridge, Buena Vista, and surrounding areas.
